A hands-on experience for children, adolescents, and adults to connect with nature, learn farm skills, and be part of a welcoming community.

What is Sunday Funday?

A unique monthly farm experience designed to help individuals of all ages engage in hands-on learning through farm chores, horse care, and community teamwork. Each session is structured to promote responsibility, confidence, and a sense of connection with animals and nature.

📅 When? One Sunday per month, with two time slots available:

• Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (child/adolescents)

• Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (adults)

📍 Where? KMG Therapies, Howard County, Maryland

💲 Cost? $10 per participant per session (aides/support staff attend free)

👥 Who Can Join?

• Children, teens, and adults looking for a structured, interactive farm experience.

• Participants must attend with at least one aide or support person for assistance as needed.

What to Expect at Each Session

🌿 Welcome & Farm Tour
Begin with a guided walk around the farm, exploring the barns, paddocks, and learning about daily farm life.

🐴 Horse Safety & Farm Skills
Learn the basics of horse care, handling, and general farm safety in a structured and engaging way.

🛠 Hands-On Chores & Activities
Participants will get the chance to choose from various farm chores based on age, ability, and interest.

What should participants wear?

Closed-toe shoes (boots preferred), comfortable clothing, and weather-appropriate layers.

What if I need to cancel?

Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you can’t attend a session.

Are there volunteer opportunities?

Yes! We welcome all KMG Therapies trained volunteers to help with supervision and activity support. Contact Kara if interested.
